ISSUED:  September 01, 2011 EFFECTIVE:  October 01, 2011
SUBJECT:  DOCKAGE

Dockage charges on all vessels and barges except LASH barges will be computed on the basis of the highest gross registered tonnage (GRT) as published in LLOYD'S REGISTER OF SHIPPING.  The charges are subject to a minimum charge of $1500.00 per 24-hour period or fraction thereof, except LASH barges.

Bulk Carrier                      $0.62 per GRT per 24-hour period or fraction thereof

Tankers, Tween-Deckers    $0.72 per GRT per 24-hour period or fraction thereof

If the Authority requires vessels or barges to vacate a berth within the first 12 hours of a dockage period, the Authority will assess one-half of the above charges, as applicable.

LAY/IDLE GRAIN VESSELS
Vessels berthed at Colonel's Island Terminal berths or the berth at the Authority's Mayor's Point Terminal for the purpose of fitting up or waiting to load bulk grain or grain products only at the Colonel's Island Bulk Facility as their next cargo will be assessed the following dockage rates, while in lay/idle berth status:

First 24 hour period or fraction thereof                       $3,600.00 (See Notes)    
Each subsequent 24 hour period or fraction thereof       $4,625.00 (See Notes)

NOTE 1: Rate excludes line handling charges at all berths.                                 
NOTE 2: Rate excludes the applicable Terminal Security Surcharge Fee.             NOTE 3: Lay berths will be assigned by the Authority's Ships Operations after consulting with affected parties.                                                                     
NOTE 4: Personnel access to facilities as covered in the Authority's Terminal Tariff No. 5, Rule 34-097 will apply.
NOTE 5: If the vessel's GRT is such that the applicable working dockage rate is less than the lay/idle dockage rates, the working dockage rate will apply.
