To: Users of Georgia Ports Authority Tariff #5
 
Effective January 1, 2009, the Georgia Ports Authority will be revising the below rules of Terminal Tariff No. 5. Details are as follows:
 
RULE 34-020 APPLICATION FOR BERTH
Increased the number of days prior to expected vessel arrival date that the vessel or its agent must provide vessel manifest as well as apply for berth.
 
RULE 34-025 CHARGES FOR EQUIPMENT, LABOR AND MATERIALS
Removed duplicate language
 
RULE 34-315 GRANITE, MARBLE, AND STONE
Added note regarding rate applying to/from flatbed trailer only.
 
RULE 34-380 GRANITE, MARBLE, AND STONE
Added note regarding rate applying to/from flatbed trailer only.
 
RULE 34-486 CONTAINERS OR CHASSIS LEFT ON DOCK
Added verbiage to the rule stating the charges will be invoiced to the stevedore.
 
For subscribers the revised pages will follow in the mail. For all others, there revisions will be available for review on our website, www.gaports.com on or about December 26, 2008.
